Professors and teachers of KSU have visited the University of Paris – Lodron in Austria

The regular seminar within the framework of this project was held on June 28 – July 3 at the University of Paris – Lodron in Salzburg, Austria.

The seminar was attended by Vice-Rector of the University IzymbetTurdimambetov, coordinator of the DSinGIS project at our University P. Reymov and project participant A. Orazbayeva.

At the seminar there were discussed the organization of new doctoral courses (PhD), the accreditation of doctoral candidates, the introduction of new doctoral degrees, as well as the current status of the DSinGIS project in all partner universities and its plans for the 2020 year.They also discussed the procedure for regulating educational materials and the evaluation of graduate students, the introduction of electronic education and educational centers.

In addition, during this academic trip, the representatives of our University signed Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation with two prestigious European universities, namely the University of Paris – Lodron in the city of Salzburg in Austria and the Institute of Agricultural Developmentin Leibniz in Germany.

Of course, as a result of this project, our University plans to develop the field of GIS (Geoinformatics) and in the nearest future we plan to open basic doctoral program (PhD) in GIS (Geoinformatics).

These memorandums signed between the prestigious higher educational institutions of Europe and our University will significantly increase the scientific potential of our University in the future.
